Vernon's only indoor climbing gym, The Rock Garden Climbing Centre, offers 4,000 sq ft of fun for climbers of all ages and abilities. Families can enjoy top-rope routes, a dedicated bouldering zone, and a mezzanine cave with climbs reaching up to 19 feet. It’s a welcoming space for both beginners and experienced climbers.

Ethos Parkour & Movement in Penticton offers action-packed birthday parties where kids can climb, jump, and play their hearts out. The spacious gym features fun obstacles, parkour games, and party add-ons like Nerf battles (7+) and glow-in-the-dark laser tag (5+). Coaches lead the group with a focus on safety and fun, and beginners are always welcome. Party packages include time for food and presents, with tables and chairs provided—plus setup and takedown time is included.

The Okanagan Science Centre is a fun, hands-on place where kids can explore science, technology, and space. With two levels of interactive exhibits, there's always something new to discover. Highlights include the AI Playground & Robotics Lab, where kids can experiment with artificial intelligence and robotics, and the Astronomy and Planetarium area, perfect for curious minds who love space. Rotating exhibits and live demonstrations keep each visit fresh and exciting.

Just 4 Fun is a treasure trove for kids, packed with fun toys, games, and collectibles, from plushies and puzzles to Pokémon cards and fidget toys. Kids will love browsing the colorful displays, picking out their favorite items, and enjoying a free lollipop too! They even offer a play area so bring some friends and come enjoy playing any of their 500 board games for free! 

The McDonald’s on Gellatly Road in West Kelowna is a convenient and kid-friendly stop, especially for families on the go. It features an indoor PlayPlace with two small slides built right into the structure—perfect for younger kids to burn off some energy. There’s ample seating just outside the play zone, so parents can relax, sip a coffee, and keep an eye on the action while little ones play and snack.

Simplex Sportszone is a fun indoor destination for families, offering simulated sports, flight simulators, and immersive racing. Kids can play hockey, soccer, or even Zombie Dodgeball, while parents enjoy a licensed lounge area. It’s a great place for active fun, rainy day entertainment, or a unique birthday party.

The aquatic centre offers a 25-meter swimming pool, a hot tub, a steam room, warm soaking pool as well as a beach entrance, aquatic wheelchairs, and a client transport lift and family change rooms.

The Kelowna Rockets are a Major Junior hockey team in the WHL. They play at Prospera Place in downtown Kelowna, an arena with seating for over 6,500 fans.

The recreation centre offers a 25-meter swimming pool, a children’s play pool, and a whirlpool and steam room to the public. Public swimming and lane swimming is available during the allotted times below. The birthday package includes access to the swimming pool during the public swim, a private room with tables and chairs for food, cake, presents, and support from recreation staff if needed.

Another World VR is an immersive virtual reality arena in 4100 square feet of high-tech fun for ages 6 and up, where guests can explore fantasy worlds, battle zombies, and enjoy interactive games. Perfect for birthday parties—with private arena rentals and a lounge for cake time—it also hosts corporate events, team-building, and grad celebrations with customizable group packages.
