If you're looking for a new playground to check out in Kelowna, Burne Park is worth the trip. The big draw is the giant wooden climbing tower with a stainless steel tube slide that older kids will want to ride over and over. Toddlers have their own spot on the hill slide, and there are plenty of wooden bridges, balance logs, and climbing elements scattered around. Please note there are no dedicated parking stalls. No washrooms are available here.

Sunview Park is a small neighbourhood playground in West Kelowna with two swings, monkey bars, a teeter totter, and a grassy area surrounded by trees.

Jack Seaton Park in Lake Country has a large playground with multiple play structures, slides, climbing elements, monkey bars, and balance features. The park also has softball diamonds, a padel court, walking trails, and a viewpoint overlooking Okanagan Lake. Picnic tables, washrooms, and a designated parking area on site.

South Vernon Park is a neighbourhood park in Vernon with two play structures featuring a tube slide, curved slide, side by side slides, climbing elements, and two traditional swings. There's also a basketball court, grassy area, a bench and picnic table.

The Parkinson Recreation Centre Playground is an inclusive Kelowna play space featuring a giant Ogopogo to climb on, a wheelchair-accessible bus, saucer swings, a rope climbing pyramid, sandbox, and musical instruments. Benches and picnic tables surround the playground for parents.

Kelowna City Park is a popular lakefront destination with sandy beaches, large grassy areas, a playground, splash park, skatepark, tennis and basketball courts, sand volleyball, soccer fields, lawn bowling, and public washrooms. A paved waterfront walkway makes it easy to stroll or bike along Okanagan Lake, and the shallow swim area at Hot Sands Beach is perfect for families.

If you're looking for a park that truly has something for everyone, DeHart Community Park in Kelowna is it. This nine-acre space is packed with fun features for all ages—including a large playground, a water play area, parkour zone, basketball court, games area with foosball and ping pong, and even a small skate spot. Whether you're coming with young kids, teens, or just looking to get active outdoors, there's plenty here to explore and enjoy.

Turner Park in Peachland has a great new playground that’s perfect for kids who love to climb and explore. It features tall climbing nets, rope bridges, tunnels, a bright green slide, and a disc swing, all set on a soft rubber surface. With shaded picnic areas, open green space, and beautiful views of Okanagan Lake, it’s a relaxing spot for families to enjoy the outdoors.

Ballou Park in Kelowna’s Glenmore area offers a fun mix of nature-inspired and modern play features, including a zipline, climbing wall, swings, spring rider, and a hillside slide with rope access. Natural elements like stumps, rocks, and balancing logs encourage imaginative play, while the surrounding open field is ideal for running, sports, or sledding in winter. A portable toilet is available on-site.

The Jumpstart Inclusive Playground in Vernon is a fun and accessible play space located in Marshall Field Park. This fully inclusive playground features ramps, sensory play elements, adaptive swings, smooth rubber surfacing and so much more.
