Girouard Park is a great little neighbourhood spot with a solid playground set up for kids of all ages. There’s a mix of climbing structures, monkey bars, swings, slides, and a wavy climbing wall that’s a fun challenge for adventurous climbers. The playground is set on wood chips and has lots of open space for running around. One of the nicest features of this park is the small creek that runs through it.

Grindrod Park, just 10 minutes north of Enderby off Highway 97A, is a scenic riverside spot. Located along the shores of Shuswap River, the park features a playground, picnic tables, fire pits, and a gravel parking area. The park offers river access with a sandy beach. While inviting, the river can have strong currents and sudden drop-offs, so water safety is key. Shaded by mature trees, the open grassy areas are great for picnics.
