Powell Beach Park in Trout Creek, Summerland is a great park with a sandy beach, picnic tables, tennis courts, and a baseball diamond. Families will find two playground areas—one with swings and another with a small play structure—plus seasonal washrooms.

Rotary Beach Park in Kelowna is a popular lakeside destination featuring a sandy beach, designated swimming area, and a playground for children right on the beach. Spacious grassy areas and picnic tables provide comfortable spots to set up camp for the day. Convenient amenities include washrooms and on-site water sport rentals.

Pritchard Park & Beach is a spacious, family-friendly beach park with a sandy shoreline, shallow swimming areas, a long dock, two sand volleyball courts, a playground, washrooms, and ample grassy space for picnics and play. Located in a peaceful lakeside neighborhood, this park and beach is a gem worth a visit.

Located at the end of Whitworth Road, Pebble Beach is a smaller, more tucked-away beach with a mix of sand and pebbles along the shoreline. It features picnic tables, benches, a grassy area, a beach volleyball court, and a seasonal porta potty for convenience.

Willow Beach offers kids plenty of sand to play in, a volleyball court, picnic tables, and a grassy area just off to the side for extra space to relax or play.

With a mix of grass and sand, Sarsons Beach Park offers a relaxed setting with a playground, picnic tables, a designated swim area, washrooms, and parking.

Strathcona Beach Park features a sandy beach, swimming area, playground, washrooms, plenty of grassy space for the kids to run around, pickleball courts, and shade from mature trees. Parking is limited but it's a beautiful park.

Hot Sands Beach in Kelowna is one of the city’s most popular summer spots, located within City Park and surrounded by amenities like volleyball, sports courts, a skatepark, splash pad, and a shaded walking path. Families will love the sand, swim area, and large trees. With nearby washrooms, picnic tables, and easy access to food and ice cream, it’s a top choice for a full day of fun by the lake.

Boyce-Gyro Beach Park is a popular beach on Okanagan Lake offers plenty of shade, a wide sandy shoreline, and a large grassy area perfect for relaxing or playing. Amenities include a beachfront playground, sand volleyball courts, sand soccer area, washrooms, a concession stand, watersport rentals, and two ziplines—one along the beach and one over the water. The shallow, walk-out entry makes it great for kids, and while paid parking is available, it can be challenging to find a spot during peak times.

Antlers Beach Regional Park in Peachland is a peaceful lakeside stop just off Highway 97, right before entering Peachland if you're driving from Penticton. With pebbly rocks, clear water, picnic tables, benches, a dock, and washrooms, it's a great place to take a break and enjoy the lake — and the perfect spot to teach the kids how to skip rocks.
