Kelowna

Hot Sands Beach

When crossing the Kelowna bridge from the South, you will see Hot Sands Beach. This is one of the more popular beaches in Kelowna and is located in City Park. The beach offers a concession stand, playground, and a fantastic spark for families to enjoy.

Boyce-Gyro Beach Park

There is plenty of shade on this beautiful beach located on Okanagan Lake. This beach/park features sand volleyball courts, kids’ playground (great for all ages), washrooms, a concession stand, a rope swing, and watersport rentals provided by Okanagan Beach Rentals. What’s really nice about this beach is that you can walk out quite a ways and the water stays shallow.

Rotary Beach Park

This 1.5-hectare park offers a sandy beach, a swimming area, plus restrooms, a playground, and trails.

Sarson’s Beach Park

Sarson’s Beach is a popular destination that features a large grassy area perfect for picnics and sunbathing, as well as a sandy beach for swimming and building sandcastles. Children will appreciate the playground area, while washrooms, picnic tables, and parking complete the list of amenities that make this destination ideal for families.

It includes a beach area, playground, swimming area, and washrooms.

Lake Country

Coral Beach Park

The park has a boat launch and dock along with tennis courts, a playground, seasonal washrooms, picnic area/tables, benches and a beach.

Kaloya Regional Park

This spot is ideal for bird watching and also features a swimming and small sandy beach area, washrooms, a gazebo, level walking trails, and a new playground.

Located on Wood Lake just pull off of Pelmewash Parkway and the beach will be on your right.

Pebble Beach

The beach park features a designated swim area and a dock/swim raft for visitors to enjoy a refreshing dip in the water. A picnic area is also available, providing a perfect spot for families and friends to gather and enjoy a meal with a stunning view. It is important to note that dogs are not allowed in the park.

Manitou Beach and Park

Manitou Park and Beach, Naramata

Located on Okanagan Lake, Manitou Beach, and Park offers a public beach featuring changing rooms, washrooms, a playground, and a horseshoe pit. There is a large grassy area, volleyball courts, and a picnic table available.

Swim Bay

Includes washrooms, pebble beach, swimming area, concessions, wharf, diving board, zip line, rope swing, picnic area. There is a lifeguard on duty from the end of June to the end of August. Swimming lessons are also available.

Marina Way Beach

Okanagan Lake Beach

This beach is located on Okanagan Lake, past the Penticton Lakeside Resort near the Okanagan Marina. Although the beach is smaller, it still provides a nice swimming area with a shallow entry into the water and seasonal toilets. Parking is limited.

Okanagan Lake Beach

Beaches & Lakes - Okanagan

Located along Lakeshore Drive is the popular Okanagan Lake Beach. On top of almost a kilometre of sandy beach this area features a swimming area, rest rafts, kiddie slides, shade trees, washrooms nearby, fire pits and free parking. On this beach you will find the Peach Ice Cream Shop, the S.S. Sicamous Stern Wheeler and Splash BC Water Park.

Skaha Lake Beach

Located at the South end of Penticton, Skaha beach is the perfect spot to spend the day at. They offer concession stands and washrooms at each end of the beach. Stroll along the boardwalk for panoramic views of Skaha Lake. The lake offers a shallow entry for the little ones to play in the reddish-coloured sand. The beach lacks shade, although Skaha Park is located next to the beach where you can enjoy the shade. There is also Rotary Play World and Splash Park at Skaha Lake Park.

Sudbury Beach

It may seem that Sudbury Beach is part of Skaha Beach, but it’s actually separate. You will find Sudbury Beach just west of Skaha Beach and it features a swimming area, rest rafts, slides, washrooms, parking, a fire pit, and of course a nice sandy beach. They also have a concession stand on site, currently operated by Tickleberry’s Ice Cream and paddleboard and kayak rentals operated by Glow SUP Adventures.

Situated on Okanagan Lake is the popular Peach Orchard Beach Park. Children will love the splash park or the playground, located right beside each other. There is a nice sandy beach, picnic tables, a boat launch, washrooms, a volleyball court, and a large grassy area.

You will find Rotary Beach by following Lakeshore Drive South, in between the Summerland Waterfront Resort and Peach Orchard Beach Park. You will find washrooms, benches, docks, floating docks and a few shade trees.

Sun-Oka Beach Provincial Park

Sun-Oka Beach Provincial Park
One of the more popular beaches in the South Okanagan, Sun-Oka Beach is located off Highway 97, between Penticton and Summerland. Here you will find a beautiful sandy beach stretched on Okanagan Lake, a playground, fire pits, picnic tables, drinking water fountains, a dog beach, watersport rentals, washrooms, and change rooms.

Kalamalka Beach

Park across from Kal Beach (free parking) and walk across the road to enjoy the beach for the day. There is a big beautiful dock that stretches out on the water. The beach also features a concession stand, picnic tables, volleyball courts, and washrooms.
