Home of the crazy shakes! Cherry on Top Shake Shop is an insta-worthy ice cream shop delivers not only delicious ice cream and milkshakes, but they are worth a photo or two. Our family tried the Happy Birthday and Strawberry Shortcake Crazy Shakes. and they are delicious. You can also order crazy cones, ice cream, screamers, and twisters here.

Davison Orchards is a fun family destination with farm-fresh produce, a bakery, and plenty to do. Kids can play at the Crazy Cow Kids Corral, feed friendly farm animals, and explore vintage tractors. The Farmhouse Café serves homemade meals and fresh apple juice, while The Old Brick Press offers real fruit ice cream. Visitors can shop for local treats at the Country Village gift shop or take a tractor-pulled Johnny Popper Farm Tour through the orchards.

DeMille's Farm Market in Salmon Arm is a must-visit for families, featuring fresh local produce, baked goods, and unique treats. Kids will have a blast feeding the farm animals—including goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, emus, pigs, and chickens—with feed bags available for just $1 each!

We love visiting Dirty Laundry Vineyard in Summerland when our family is visiting from out of town. The winery offers kid-friendly food and drink options as well as dessert – Gelato and Sorbetto (both Vegan and Gluten-Free)! Their outdoor patio offers beautiful views of Summerland, you may even see the Summerland Steam Train go by.

Gatzke Orchard's Farm Market is a popular fruit stand, cafe and information with sites to see, shopping available, lunch and dinner options, as well as e-bike rentals. Don’t forget to try one of their 12 ice cream flavors, fresh fruit, and produce. As a third-generation orchard, Gatzke has been a favorite stop for both Okanagan locals and visitors from around the world, offering a wide selection of seasonal fruits, baked goods, and more from May to September.

This floral cafe in Oliver offers 16 different flavours of gourmet ice cream with the option of choosing handmade waffles. If you prefer a different treat, they sell Eastside slushies, hot drinks, floats, and candies.
