Folktale Cider in Lake Country is a family-friendly cidery that offers a perfect blend of craft cider tastings for adults and fun activities for kids. While parents enjoy small-batch cider in a scenic orchard setting, children can bounce on the jumbo jumper (don’t forget socks!), zip back and forth on the mini-zipline, or cool off with a refreshing shaved ice treat. Friendly chickens add to the farmyard charm, making this a unique stop for families.

D'Angelo Estate Winery on the Naramata Bench in Penticton offers a family-friendly picnic area with tables, shaded spots, and stunning views of Okanagan Lake. Kids can enjoy a play structure, toys, and a large lawn for bocce or free play, while parents relax with a glass of wine. Guests can also enjoy Italian sandwiches from Danelo's Food Truck. District Wine Village in Oliver offers a unique and family-friendly experience, featuring 16 artisan producers, including wineries, a brewery, and a distillery. Each place offers tastings, and the central plaza often hosts live entertainment, markets, and events throughout the year. Did you know? Tin Whistle Brewing Co. has been brewing beer for 30 years, and is the first carbon neutral brewery in B.C.? Inside the brewery, the real highlight for kids is the brewery's onsite train. Kids can sit, play, or get creative by graffiting the train with chalk. Families can also enjoy a selection of board games, making it a great spot for parents and children to relax and have fun together. 

Discover Ve Oh Lay Acres in Summerland, a honey winery and farm that’s perfect for families. Parents can relax on the patio with a bottle of honey wine or a wine flight, while kids enjoy complimentary juice boxes and lawn games like Giant Jenga or life-sized Trouble playing pieces. The on-site kitchen serves a selection of food, such as tacos and charcuterie boards which are great to snack on with the kids.
