Kid-Friendly Wineries, Breweries & Cideries

This spacious and scenic cidery is set among mature trees and open green space, making it an ideal place to relax. The family-run farm features a craft cidery, orchard, and alpaca farm—where kids can explore and even feed the friendly alpacas while parents enjoy a tasting.

They are kid-friendly throughout the winery. Choose indoor seating for full-service dining from Annie’s Beach Restaurant or take-out from Annie’s Beach Cafe and Coffee Shop.

This winery is family-friendly and they have non-alcoholic offerings available.

All aboard! Kids can play on a little wooden train made out of wine barrels outside the winery. We took my niece there who was 13 at the time and they offered her a choice between a freezie or a sucker. Needless to say, she was quite happy while we were wine tasting.

We love visiting Dirty Laundry Vineyard in Summerland when our family is visiting from out of town. The winery offers kid-friendly food and drink options as well as dessert – Gelato and Sorbetto (both Vegan and Gluten-Free)! Their outdoor patio offers beautiful views of Summerland, you may even see the Summerland Steam Train go by.

This family-owned winery offers a self-guided farm tour where kids can meet sheep, goats, chickens, bunnies, and even a turkey.

While parents are tasting wines, kids can take a self-guided tour through their gardens and complete a fun activity sheet to learn about the bees.

The tasting room at Three Sisters Winery is equipped with a colouring table, colouring books and a selection of crayons for the entertainment of children. 

Kids and pets are always welcome at Grizzli Winery, whether it’s in their art gallery, during a tour or wine tasting.

Located in the same building as Summerland Sweets, parents can enjoy a wine tasting while the kids cool down with an ice cream treat. There are picnic tables outside the winery and a cool tractor to play on – a great photo opportunity!
