Location & Parking
The Lakeview Park, Wading Pool and Spladh Pad are located on the corner of 30th Avenue and 18th Street in Vernon.
Parking is available along 18th Street which is situated out front of the pool and playground. It’s just a short walk to the playground, splash pad or wading pool.
Lakeview Park Playground
This playground is newer and features several climbing walls, slides and swings.Â
There are several rock climbing walls and climbing features. A swing set includes two traditional swings and two bucket swings.
There is also a basket swing and standup spinners. A large grassy area surrounds the park, perfect for children to run around and play.
Lakeview Splash Pad
The Lakeview Splash Pad is located between the park and wading pool. A covered area with two picnic tables provides shade nearby, which is a nice option on hot summer days.
This small splash pad has ground fountains and a few spray features, with buttons kids can press to activate them.
Lakeview Wading Pool
This outdoor pool has a shallow, graduated entry, making it accessible for younger children and beginner swimmers. The maximum depth is 0.9 meters at this pool. They offer free public swim, making this a great options for families in the summer months.
