West Kelowna Skatepark in Memorial Park is a concrete park with two bowls, a street section, and a smooth flat area, open to skateboards, scooters, BMX bikes, and inline skates. There's something for every skill level, from kids learning to push around on a board to experienced skaters dropping into the deeper bowl. Picnic tables, benches, lighting, and a large parking lot round out the setup.

West Kelowna Stables offers western riding lessons for all skill levels and 2-hour birthday party packages, including a guided ride and horse safety lesson for each child.

West Kelowna StrongStart - Webber Road Elementary is a free school-based early learning program offered on school days. Your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in storytime where they will sing songs, and exercise during gym time (where applicable).

The West Kelowna Warriors are a Junior A hockey team in the BCHL. They play at Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna, an arena with seating for over 1,500 fans and plenty of family-friendly energy on game nights. Celebrate your birthday at a Warriors game with popcorn, juice, and a special announcement during the game! The birthday child gets a free ticket and a chance to meet two Warriors for a photo after the game.

The Westbank Farmer's Market is located at the City Hall/Library Plaza on Old Okanagan Highway.

They offer 100% Pure Juice, Whole Organic Fruits, Berries, Okanagan Wildflower Honey, Fresh Vegetables, Nuts, and Preserved Goods. Their selection of juices changes throughout the year, but is focused on 9 themes that they promote during the height of the seasons, which run from spring to fall.

The Westbank Museum in West Kelowna is a great spot for families to explore local history together. Take a self-guided tour through pioneer homes, a vintage classroom, and farming displays, then let the kids enjoy the Beaver and Bear Hunt scavenger game. Open year-round with admission by donation.

Visit the Westside Learning Lab where creativity comes to life through hands-on access to Maker technology like 3D printing, Cricut cutting machines, and graphic design software. And yes—there are plenty of books to explore as well!
