Giant’s Head Mountain Park

Giant’s Head Mountain Park in Summerland offers a mix of family-friendly and more challenging trails with stunning summit views. You’ll find benches and look out areas along the way. Drive-up access is available seasonally for a shorter walk. At the top, enjoy 360° views, lookout tubes, and a time capsule. Amenities include washrooms, picnic spots, and a bike repair station. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Girouard Park is a great little neighbourhood spot with a solid playground set up for kids of all ages. There’s a mix of climbing structures, monkey bars, swings, slides, and a wavy climbing wall that’s a fun challenge for adventurous climbers. The playground is set on wood chips and has lots of open space for running around. One of the nicest features of this park is the small creek that runs through it.

Located along the shores of Shuswap River, the park features a playground, picnic tables, fire pits, and a gravel parking area. The park offers river access with a sandy beach. While inviting, the river can have strong currents and sudden drop-offs, so water safety is key. Shaded by mature trees, the open grassy areas are great for picnics.

The park also has picnic tables, benches, and seasonal washrooms. The OK Falls Spray Park sits right next to the playground, with Christie Memorial Park just down the path.
