Prestige Harbourfront Resort in Salmon Arm offers a peaceful lakeside vacation with views of Shuswap Lake and the surrounding mountains. With an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, kids’ arcade, beautiful rooms, and direct access to waterfront walking trails and the Salmon Arm Wharf, it’s the perfect place to relax and explore the Shuswap region.
Spacious Rooms with Lake Views

Guests can choose from standard rooms with one king or two queen beds, studios, and suites, many featuring lake views, private balconies, kitchenettes, or kitchens. Our family stayed in a spacious two-bedroom kitchen suite.
Our Stay in the Two-Bedroom Executive Suite

Each bedroom had a king-sized bed and its own TV—a win for parents and kids alike.

The living room included a pull-out couch, perfect for extra sleeping space—or building epic blanket forts.
So Convenient Having a Full Kitchen

The full kitchen oven/stove, full fridge, microwave with dishes, cutlery, and everything you need were incredibly convenient. It was nice to have the option to make lunch or prepare breakfast in the room, instead of dining out.
Family-Friendly Bathroom
Most rooms include a shower and bathtub, which is a must for us when traveling with kids.

We had a huge balcony with stunning views of Shuswap Lake. It was so peaceful and nice to sit out there in the morning or during the evening, just listening to all the birds (and occasionally the kids arguing over who gets the TV remote).

Indoor/Outdoor Pool Fun for the Whole Family

They have one pool that is both an indoor/outdoor pool, open year-round.

Our kids loved swimming through the opening from inside to outside—it felt like a mini adventure every time!
Lounging Lakeside in Salmon Arm

Just outside the pool area, there’s a grassy space with lounge chairs—perfect for soaking up views of Shuswap Lake and listening to the birds.
Arcade Games, Bikes, Kayaks, and More

Children will love the on-site arcade with five coin-operated games, including classics like Pac-Man, air hockey, pinball, foosball, and dome hockey. Don’t forget to bring a roll of loonies—they’ll want to play all the games! Favourites were dome hockey and the pinball machine.

Want to try an e-bike, cruiser bike, or hit the water with a kayak or stand-up paddleboard? The resort offers all of these for free! They also have board games and sports gear on hand.
Steps from the Wharf and Waterfront Trails

Whether you’re walking or biking, the Harbourfront pathway offers scenic lakeside views. It is a peaceful way to explore the area—plus, it’s a perfect spot to snap a memorable photo.
Extra Amenities
The resort features a cozy lounge area that’s great for relaxing with a coffee or planning out your day’s adventures.

The business centre is handy for quickly checking emails before heading out for the day.

The resort has a well-equipped fitness centre with a solid mix of machines and free weights. We didn’t use it ourselves—chasing kids around town and carrying them counts as a workout, right?—but it looked spacious, modern, and well-maintained. You’ll also find Lake Life Day Spa for relaxing treatments, Studio 3 Hair Salon, Shuswap Sparkles Nail Salon, and convenient guest laundry facilities in the hotel.

BRIXX Brewhouse

BRIXX Brewhouse at the Prestige Harbourfront Resort serves up unique burgers, creative hot dogs, classic pub fare, and a great selection of local beers and drinks. We ordered pizza and pasta from the kids’ menu, and the fish and chips we tried were amazing—huge portion and it was nice to have leftovers to heat up in the room for lunch the next day.
Dine Lakeside at Nineteen05 Kitchen & Raw Bar

Located inside the Prestige Harbourfront Resort, Nineteen05 offers upscale dining with beautiful lake views. Enjoy a full breakfast menu with classics like eggs benny and pancakes, and a globally inspired dinner menu featuring sushi, seafood, steak, and vegetarian dishes.
Start Your Morning at Underpass Café

Tucked just off the Prestige Hotel lobby, Underpass Café is a convenient spot to grab your morning coffee or tea without leaving the building. They offer a selection of muffins, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, hot soup, and chili—perfect to enjoy in the café or take back to your room. We love when hotels have a café on-site—it’s such a treat to head downstairs for a warm drink instead of having to drive somewhere.
