The cold weather and snow have arrived and now it’s time to explore things to do with kids in Kelowna this winter.


Family Drop-In & Pre-Registered Programs in Kelowna

  1. Have fun at Family Playtime at the YMCA. The program runs Monday to Friday at the Kelowna Family Y and is for children ages 0-6 years and their caregiver. Registration required.
  2. Register at a StrongStart Program near you – locations at A.S. Matheson, Raymer, Pearson Road and South Rutland Elementary Schools. They are open the same days as schools.
  3. Attend a family program at the Kelowna Library. The library offers activities for kids and teens both online and in-person. Registration required.
  4. Check out the monthly calendar at the Central Okanagan Family Hub. Programs such as Registered Family Play Time and Parent Talk are available.
  5. Get flexible or just play at Okanagan Gymnastics. They offer preschool and homeschool drop-in programs.
