Located in Armstrong, Farmstrong Cider Company is a kid-friendly, family-run cidery that serves small batch craft cider in a cozy heritage barn. McLeod Park is a quiet neighborhood park in the McLeod subdivision of Spallumcheen, ideal for younger children. There’s also a paved basketball court, a picnic table, benches, and a large grassy area that’s mostly fenced for added peace of mind. A few trees provide some shade in the otherwise open field, and parking is available in a small lot off Lockhart Drive at Sydney Crescent.

Memorial Park in Armstrong has a great mix of play structures for kids to enjoy. There are slides, climbing areas, and a fun rock to climb. Younger children will love the swings and spring riders. The park is shaded by tall trees, making it a comfortable place to spend time, and there are washrooms nearby. There is an outdoor pool and water park next to the playground.
