Seasonal activities and events throughout the year provide great options if you are looking for things to do with your family.

Here is a chance to pick your cherries. If it’s not raining, pack a lunch, and bring the family and lots of friends! They will supply the pails, but feel free to bring boxes, containers, and bags.

Families will find a welcoming atmosphere at Kettle Valley Brewing Co., complete with board games, non-alcoholic craft sodas to buy, and a relaxed vibe. While there’s no designated kid zone or high chairs, a change table is available.

This cozy local coffee shop has treats the kids will love, offering 12 ice cream flavors. Don’t miss out on their Fro Yo, made from real frozen fruit blended with frozen yogurt.

The KF Centre for Excellence in Kelowna is a 60,000-square-foot aviation exhibit that offers an exciting and interactive experience for families. Located near Kelowna International Airport, this family-friendly destination features a historic aircraft collection, hands-on exhibits, and flight simulators that allow visitors to step into the world of aviation. The facility is wheelchair accessible and open year-round, Tuesday to Saturday. Please be sure to check their website before visiting for special event exceptions to these hours.

Kinsmen Park Kelowna is a family-friendly park right on Okanagan Lake. It features a playground, large grassy area, picnic tables, tennis courts, lake access by steps, and seasonal washrooms.

KLO Farm Market in Kelowna is a family-run spot offering fresh local produce, dairy, meats, eggs, sauces, and more since 2019. It’s also a fun outing for families, with friendly farm animals like goats, ducks, and a pig, plus a seasonal U-Pick zinnia flower garden. Kids can cool off with one of 12 ice cream flavors, and when hunger strikes, El Taco Loco food truck is right on-site.
