Lake Country

The Lake Country Museum has been active in collecting and presenting Lake Country’s story to the public. Come visit them for a guided tour through our many exhibits, or families can experience their history through a fun scavenger hunt. It’s our story, yours to discover.

StrongStart is a free school-based early learning drop-in program offered on school days. Your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in story time where they will sing songs, and exercise during gym time (where applicable). You will complete a registration form on your first day. Please also be prepared to provide legal proof of identification for your child.

Contact Lake Country Watersports today to book your Sea-Doo jet ski rental. You have the choice of several lakes and locations to play on (Okanagan Lake, Kalamalka Lake, or Wood Lake)!

Offering a diverse selection of fresh produce, Lake View Orchard Fruit Stand sells cherries, peaches, apricots, nectarines, and apples. They also have grapes, vegetables, pumpkins, peppers, strawberries, and melons, making it a must-visit fruit stand.

Use the Okanagan Centre Hall to make your party come to life. Choose your theme and have fun, bringing your own food and beverage. If you wish to use their kitchen dishes, cutlery, stoves, etc. there will an additional charge.

Okanagan Centre Park is a fun, family-friendly spot nestled next to the Lake Country Museum with easy access to Okanagan Lake just across the street. The playground features a wood chip surface with two slides, a spring rider, climbing structure, bucket swing, and traditional swing. There's also a large grassy area for running and playing, picnic tables for snack breaks, and accessible washrooms on site.

Okanagan Stables’ Intro & Mini Trail Ride Combo is perfect for first-time riders, young children, or anyone a bit apprehensive about horseback riding.

OKF Grill in Lake Country offers a great selection of ice cream, milkshakes, and screamers—perfect for cooling off on a hot day. It’s a great spot to stop by for a sweet treat the whole family will enjoy.

Use the upstairs of the Oyama Community Club to host your next birthday party. The space holds up to 100 people and includes bathrooms and a kitchen.
