Giant’s Head Mountain Park in Summerland offers a mix of family-friendly and more challenging trails with stunning summit views. You’ll find benches and look out areas along the way. Drive-up access is available seasonally for a shorter walk. At the top, enjoy 360° views, lookout tubes, and a time capsule. Amenities include washrooms, picnic spots, and a bike repair station. Dogs are welcome on leash.

Granny's Fruit Stand, Bakery & Cafe sells local, in-season fruit that is NEVER imported. They only sell what is available in BC from strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and peaches to English peas, asparagus, tomatoes, pumpkins and squash. They also serve ice cream which come in kids’, single, and double sizes, with options for regular or waffle cones, as well as to-go cups.

Kinsmen Park in Summerland is a small lakeside playground located on a sharp bend along Lakeshore Drive. It features a steep central slide, teeter-totter, climbing structure, swing set, and a digging station, along with picnic tables and benches. The park also offers direct access to Okanagan Lake and a small beach area. Street parking is available nearby.

At Lightning Rock Winery in Summerland, kids can play on the spacious lawn, try mini putt and ladder ball, and enjoy snacks like complimentary juice boxes and fruit leather, while adults enjoy outdoor tastings at picnic tables.

If you are driving from Summerland and heading North, you will see this fruit on the right-hand side of the highway. They sell cherries, corn, nectarines, tomatoes, berries, veggies, cucumbers, plums, apricots, pies, syrups, honey, pears, garlic, and peach shakes, peach lemonade, fresh salsa, smokies, hot dogs, ice cream, fresh bread, and so much more. They have a few picnic tables outside overlooking panoramic views of Okanagan Lake.
