Solvero Wines is happy to welcome families, offering juice boxes, sparkling water, and Nummerland frozen treats available for purchase to keep kids refreshed. While there’s no designated play area, little ones are welcome to sit back and enjoy the visit with their parents.

SummerGate Winery in Summerland is a laid-back, family-friendly spot with lawn games, kids’ toys, and plenty of space to play. The menu has something for everyone—burgers, kid sized poutine, hot dogs, and Sunday morning waffles! Parents can sip wine or local cider on the patio while the kids have fun. It's a great stop before or after the Kettle Valley Steam Railway.

The Summerland Aquatic Centre features a 25-metre pool with a jetted whirlpool hot tub and sauna. Bring your family here for water fun.

Boasting a 200 x 85-foot ice sheet and 4 dressing rooms, the Summerland Arena offers public skating and parent and tot skating. The Summerland Banquet Room is located on the second level of the Summerland Arena. This space is 3645 sp. ft and has the capacity to host 250 people, complete with a commercial kitchen.

The Summerland District Market runs every Tuesday from May to September, at Peach Orchard Beach Park. Shop fresh produce, local wine, beer, and cider, handmade jewelry, fashion, art, bath and body products, and delicious eats. Enjoy a full day by the lake with a kids’ splash park and playground, dog beach, covered picnic areas, and scenic beach views.

You won’t find a better deal—affordably priced with everything from toys to clothes, movies, books, and more, with new items arriving all the time. The shop is only open Tuesday to Saturday from 1:00-4:00 pm, closed on holidays.

Summerland Heritage Cider Company offers a relaxing outdoor setting with a grassy area for kids to play and a kid-friendly menu, making it a great stop for families.

The kids will love their large selection of unique and hard-to-find candies. The candy section is at the front of the store when you walk in and the kids’ eyes will brighten up when they see the large selection.
