Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park in West Kelowna is a scenic lakeside park with century-old nut trees, shaded walking paths, and picnic areas. Families can enjoy the quiet beach, explore the heritage orchard, and let kids play on the playground with slides, swings, and climbing features.

Griffin Farms is open around mid-July with Cherries and they stay open until October with a variety of fruit. Peaches, Apricots, Nectarines, Peach plums, Italian Prune plums and a variety of apples and pears. The fruit is available for u-pick when it is ripe and while supplies last. They also sell tomatoes, pickling cukes, corn, peppers, and sometimes other veggies.

Kids and pets are always welcome at Grizzli Winery, whether it’s in their art gallery, during a tour or wine tasting.

Within the Mount Boucherie Complex in West Kelowna, Jim Lind Arena offers a community-focused ice rink experience, hosting public skating, adult-only sessions, therapy skates, and Big & Little skating for parents and tots. It’s a popular spot for relaxed, family-friendly skating with a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

The aquatic centre offers a 25-meter swimming pool, a hot tub, a steam room, warm soaking pool as well as a beach entrance, aquatic wheelchairs, and a client transport lift and family change rooms.

Johnson Bentley Memorial Aquatic Centre Playground in West Kelowna has two play structures, a smaller one with a slide and musical play elements for little ones and a bigger structure with climbing, monkey bars, and a slide for older kids. There's also a saucer swing and a stand-up spinner. Open grassy space and a skateboard park are nearby.

Julia’s Junction is West Kelowna’s first fully accessible and inclusive playground, thoughtfully designed to ensure children of all abilities can play side-by-side. Located within Westbank Centre Park at 2569 May Street, this vibrant space is more than just a playground—it’s a welcoming community hub for fun, connection, and inclusivity.

Kalala Organic Estate Winery offers a welcoming, kid-friendly setting with open space for children to play while adults enjoy a wine tasting. Kids and non-drinkers can purchase an ABC Juice Flight featuring apple, beet, cherry, or carrot juice.
