Parrot Island is a non-profit sanctuary for rescued parrots. Visit the sanctuary to learn about the parrots, their expected life, and how we as humans can prevent the breeding of these birds by keeping them in their natural habitat. Outside the building on neighbouring property, you will find miniature horses for the kids to watch in action.

Peachland Museum
The Peachland Museum suprised our family and we spent an hour there. Head upstairs where you can watch the trains in action from Nelson to Hope which was the length of the Kettle Valley. The layout for the Central Okanagan Railway Company (CORC) is based upon the Kettle Valley Railway operations during the decade from 1955 to 1965. The train tracks wrap around the entire upstairs with interactive buttons the kids can press.

Peachland Outdoor Ice Rink
This seasonal rink offers a 3 on 3 hockey setup and is equipped with rink lights, providing the perfect opportunity for some outdoor ice fun. While it’s open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, please note that rentals are not allowed. The rink’s availability depends on consistent temperatures below freezing, and it is lovingly maintained by Peachland Fire and Rescue volunteers. To ensure the park’s preservation, please respect the posted signage, and when conditions are ideal, the rink is freshly flooded nightly at 9:00 pm.
