Public Ice Skating at the SUNBELT Sports Centre (Indoor)
Enjoy a full season of public ice skating at the SUNBELT Sports Centre! Weekly sessions include Adult and Senior Shinny Hockey, general adult and senior skating, family skate, and a free Parent & Tot skate. Special events include Stat Holiday and Pro-D Day Toonie Skates, free holiday skating, and an annual Santa Skate, where families can enjoy hot chocolate, candy canes, and photos with Santa.

Enderby
Public Skating at Enderby Arena (Indoor)
Located within the John Pritchard Memorial Sports Complex, Enderby Arena offers a full season of public skating from September to March. Weekly public skate times are available, alongside a Parent & Tot skate, and seasonal skating lessons for various skill levels. The arena also hosts the Enderby Ice Hawks hockey sessions for different age groups. With a capacity for 900 spectators, the arena provides bleacher seating, a concession, dressing rooms, and washroom facilities. Private bookings are available at reduced rates during non-prime hours, including special holiday rates in late December. Note that specific dates and times are subject to change.

MNP Place (Indoor)
Public skating at the Leisure Rink in MNP Place is available on weekdays from Thanksgiving through Spring Break. Helmets are required for skaters under 18, and both skate rentals and skate trainers are available. All drop-in sessions, including public skating, must be registered online via Daysmart Recreation.

Memorial Arena (Indoor)
Memorial Arena was built in 1945 and is a smaller rink at 180’ x 80’ in size. This rink provides public skating sessions with dedicated times for seniors, offering a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy a relaxed skating experience together.

Rutland Arena Skating Rink (Indoor)
The Rutland Arena features two NHL-sized rink surfaces and offers a variety of skating times, including public skate, Parent & Tot sessions, and seniors’ skate, making it a great choice for all ages. Rentals are available, including skates, skate bars, and helmets, and there’s also on-site skate sharpening for added convenience.
Pre-booking your skate in advance is recommended and can be done up to seven days in advance.

This iconic Kelowna Ice Rink draws locals and visitors during the winter months to skate outdoors in downtown Kelowna. Jeffers Park Ice Rink (Outdoor)
This outdoor rink in Lavington is covered and free to use. This rink is operated by the Lavington Community Association and is weather-dependent. Half the ice rink is allocated for hockey the other half for young children skating. There is a covered seating area for spectators to watch.

District Wine Village Arena (Outdoor)
District Wine Village offers winter fun at their outdoor synthetic rink, with free public skating Fridays through Sundays from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, November through March. Skate rentals are available for $5, and skate sharpening is offered on Thursdays and Fridays at $5 per pair. Private group bookings are available Monday to Thursday. Helmets and skates are required on the ice. Guests can enjoy Okanagan VQA wine, craft beer, hot chocolate, and s’mores on the patio.

Peachland Outdoor Ice Rink (Outdoor)
This seasonal rink offers a 3 on 3 hockey setup and is equipped with rink lights, providing the perfect opportunity for some outdoor ice fun. While it’s open daily from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm, please note that rentals are not allowed. The rink’s availability depends on consistent temperatures below freezing, and it is lovingly maintained by Peachland Fire and Rescue volunteers. To ensure the park’s preservation, please respect the posted signage, and when conditions are ideal, the rink is freshly flooded nightly at 9:00 pm.

Activate Penticton Skating Rink (Outdoor)
Activate Penticton’s outdoor rink opens Saturday, December 21, 2024, for a season of skating and hockey fun! The rink operates daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering alternating days for family skating (odd calendar days) and shinny hockey (even calendar days). Family skating is a no-hockey zone, perfect for leisurely skating and beginners. Shinny hockey welcomes players of all ages, with rules for safety and fair play. Protective gear is mandatory for all activities. Volunteers keep this community gem running, so remember to show your appreciation. Private bookings aren’t available this year, ensuring everyone can enjoy the rink during open hours.

Penticton Lakeside Resort Seasonal Ice Rink (Outdoor)
The Penticton Lakeside Resort’s 30’ x 50’ fully lit ice rink is now open for the season! Located on the resort’s private licensed beach, it’s available to in-house guests and the public. The rink operates daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., except during private rentals or bad weather. Public skating is free, but skate rentals are not available—be sure to bring your own!
Private rentals are available in two-hour slots with a minimum $150 food and beverage spend at the Barking Parrot (plus tax and gratuity). Propane heaters can be rented for $25 each. Call 250-493-8221 to check availability or book a private skate.
