The Lumby Parent & Tot Program offers a free, welcoming space for parents and caregivers with children aged 0-6 to connect. Every Thursday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm, enjoy guest speakers, activities, and field trips, providing an opportunity for children to play, meet others, and learn new skills.
The Pat Duke Memorial Arena offers a way for families to enjoy ice activities together. Whether you’re into hockey, figure skating, or just want to glide on the ice during public skating times, there’s something for everyone. Thanks to a recent upgrade from a 2016 Kraft Hockeyville win, the arena is better than ever.
Outdoor Play
Nestled in Oval Park and next to the Lumby outdoor pool, the Lumby Spray Park is a great place for families to have fun. It has cool water features, including a spray ring tunnel, and a playground right next door. This means kids can go from playing in the water to swinging and sliding in no time. Open from Victoria Day to Labour Day, it’s a summer favorite for everyone.
Dive into summer fun at Lumby’s outdoor pool! Spanning 25m with five lanes, it’s perfect for families. Offering daily public swims and Red Cross Swim Lessons for all ages, it’s a summer must-visit. This seasonal pool is open from May to August
The Lumby Skatepark, situated opposite Charles Bloom Secondary School, boasts a variety of features including manny pads, rails, ledges, hubbas, quarter pipes, and a horseshoe bowl.

Gold Fox Acres is a family-operated hobby farm that has opened its doors for visitors to meet their adorable Nigerian dwarf goats and other friendly farm animals.
