Osoyoos is located in the South Okanagan a 1-hour drive from Penticton.

Family-Drop In Programs

On school days, bring your kids ages 0-5 years to Osoyoos StrongStart. It is a free school-based early learning program offered at the Osoyoos Elementary School where your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in storytime where they will sing songs, and more!

Indoor Play

For bowling fun, bring the family to Kobau Lanes in Osoyoos. They are open 7 days a week, offering 8 lanes of 5-pin bowling, perfect for any family.

Osoyoos is home to three amazing playgrounds that we suggest visiting: Lions Park, Kinsmen Park, and the natural playground at Osoyoos Elementary.

Bring your kids to the Jack Shaw Splash Park to cool off during the warm summer months. This free, family-fun activity is a blast for the kids.

Stop into the Osoyoos Regional Library to take out a book, magazine, or dvd. You can also register to join an online storytime or participate in their many activities throughout the year.

For those with a sweet tooth, visit Scoopsies Treat Shop. They serve ice cream, cupcakes, coffee, tea, and an assortment of candies. There is seating indoors or a few tables and chairs outdoors. Don’t forget to bring change and get a reading for Zoltar.
