There’s a spacious parking lot and a simple swing set with two traditional swings — a nice option for younger kids. While dogs aren’t allowed in the main park area, there is a designated dog-friendly zone to the west.

One of the more popular beaches in the South Okanagan, Sun-Oka Beach is located off Highway 97, between Penticton and Summerland. Skaha Lake Beach
Located at the south end of Penticton, Skaha Lake Beach is a great spot for a full day by the lake, with playgrounds, concession stands, and washrooms at both ends. A scenic walkway runs along the beach, offering panoramic views of Skaha Lake. The shallow water and reddish sand make it ideal for young kids to play, though natural shade is limited. For a break from the sun, Skaha Lake Park is right next door with plenty of trees and grassy areas to relax in.
