McPherson Park in West Kelowna is a great little spot for families, especially those with school-aged kids. The playground is built for children aged 5 to 12 and is packed with challenging climbing features, rope bridges, monkey bars, and multiple slides — perfect for kids who love to stay active and test their coordination. Note, there is no washroom at this playground.

Girouard Park
Girouard Park is a great little neighbourhood spot with a solid playground set up for kids of all ages. There’s a mix of climbing structures, monkey bars, swings, slides, and a wavy climbing wall that’s a fun challenge for adventurous climbers. The playground is set on wood chips and has lots of open space for running around. One of the nicest features of this park is the small creek that runs through it.

Selby Park is a peaceful neighborhood park located in Penticton’s West Bench area, named after Eric Selby—the first veteran to settle here under the Veterans’ Land Act following World War II. The park features a unique gathering table, steel sculptures, and a commemorative wall that tell the story of the veterans who helped build the community. The playground area, includes a climbing structures, slide, swings, grassy area and more.

The Ridge Park is one of Penticton’s newer green spaces, offering a unique play experience with a spider web-style climbing structure and a sports court for tennis and basketball. There’s plenty of room to roam with open grassy areas, paved walking trails, picnic tables, and benches—plus beautiful panoramic views of the city. There are no washrooms on site, so plan ahead if you’re visiting with little ones.
