Our family visits Locolanding Adventure Park each year to snap our annual photo in front of their entrance and of course, to enjoy all the activities! We love heading to the park early in the morning when it opens, and then we return for more fun in the evening.
Each visit lasts about 2 to 3 hours, the perfect length for our young family. The best part is that there’s something for everyone with plenty of activities.
There’s no admission fee to enter the park, so you can decide if you want to purchase an individual activity or try everything with their Value Pack. It’s up to you!
Hours of Operation
The park is open from 10 am to 10 pm in the summer up until September long weekend. Be sure to check their social media page before visiting as hours may change based on weather and time of year.
Activities & Value Pack
We generally purchase a Value Pack for each of our kids so they can try each activity. The package includes one time for each activity in the park and activities can be completed over multiple days. We usually come back to use the remaining activities up because there is so much to do!
Outdoor Go Karts
LocoLanding offers double-seat go-karts that allow parents and children to race together. The height requirement determines eligibility rather than age; drivers must be at least 58″ tall, while passengers must be at least 40″ tall.
We like to visit the park when it first opens and try the go-karts right away so we don’t have to wait in any lineups. The go-karts are a popular attraction and we understand why!
High-Level Ropes Course
Challenge yourself with an exhilarating tightrope high above the ground or venture across the plank. With two levels to conquer and 15 diverse rope elements to test your skills, begin your journey on level 1 and progress to the higher level for an ultimate thrill.
At the age of 6, our eldest daughter tried this activity, and it has become her favorite thing to do at the park. For participation, kids must be 42″ tall with parental assistance and 48″ tall when doing it independently.
Badlands Inflatable Park
Canada’s largest outdoor inflatable park, the Badlands is at LocoLanding Adventure Park! Get ready for a fun experience with slides, a big baller, an extreme ninja course, emoji pop-ups, a climbing wall, and an extreme balance platform.
You do not need socks, but it’s highly recommended to bring them to keep your feet cool on hot summer days (the surface gets hot!).
Children must be 34″ tall and under 14 years old to join in the fun. With a wristband for Badlands, enjoy unlimited access all day long. Come and go as you please and have a blast at the inflatable park!
Bumper Boats
Their bumper boats come equipped with water cannons, allowing children to team up with their parents in the same boat. The pricing is per boat, so if you can pair up you can extend the use of your Value Pack.
For those who prefer to watch, coin-operated squirt guns are available to spray the riders on the bumper boats from the sidelines. Be warned though, the bumper boats can also spray you from that range!
Prepare to get wet during this thrilling adventure, perfect for hot days or a refreshing evening outing before heading home. Height restrictions are not applicable when accompanied by a parent.
Monkey Motion
This is the first one in Canada, allowing four jumpers at a time to soar up to 18 feet in the air, all without the use of bungee cords. This is a suggested activity for the younger ones as it’s easy for them to bounce around, but older kids love doing flips on here.
Outdoor Climbing Wall
Test your skills and conquer this thrilling 25-foot climbing challenge.
Three people can climb simultaneously, making it a perfect opportunity to race to the top and see who reaches the top first.
Remote Control Boats
Bring some toonies or quarters to drive the remote control boats. Spin the wheel to steel and accelerate the boats into action on the water’s surface.
Mini Golf
Experience the excitement of their 18-hole mini-golf course, featuring waterfalls, caves, misting stations, and a train trestle.
Children aged 3 and under can join for free when accompanied by a paying adult. While strollers are allowed on the course, please note that it is not specifically designed to accommodate them.
Concession
The concession offers a variety of options, including hot dogs, pizza, fries, slushies, screamers, ice cream, water, and soft drinks. To accommodate visitors, the property provides 10 tables with umbrellas. Additionally, visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drinks.
