Book an educational honey farm tour (by appointment only) or stop at their shop to purchase honey, beeswax, and other related products! Your tour will take you through their Bee Educated Centre with one of their guides.

Davison Orchards is a fun family destination with farm-fresh produce, a bakery, and plenty to do. Kids can play at the Crazy Cow Kids Corral, feed friendly farm animals, and explore vintage tractors. The Farmhouse Café serves homemade meals and fresh apple juice, while The Old Brick Press offers real fruit ice cream. Visitors can shop for local treats at the Country Village gift shop or take a tractor-pulled Johnny Popper Farm Tour through the orchards.

DeMille's Farm Market in Salmon Arm is a must-visit for families, featuring fresh local produce, baked goods, and unique treats. Kids will have a blast feeding the farm animals—including goats, sheep, llamas, alpacas, emus, pigs, and chickens—with feed bags available for just $1 each!

Don-O-Ray Farm Adventure is a lively destination for family fun, offering a petting zoo with friendly animals like ducks, Silkie chickens, goats, and even a beautiful peacock. Visitors can navigate a 7,000 sq. ft. hedge maze filled with twists, turns, and surprises, or enjoy hands-on activities like bouncy horses, archery, and a rickshaw horse carriage ride. Don-O-Ray Farm Adventure also hosts memorable birthday parties with reserved seating for up to 30 guests at no extra charge—just pay regular admission per person!

Folie Flower Farm offers alpaca experiences by appointment only, where families (up to 5 people) can feed and take a short walk with two alpacas around the pastures for $75 per family for a 45-minute visit.

Gold Fox Acres is a working family-run hobby farm that decided to share its love for animals with others through its weekend petting zoo.

GottaGoat Farm, located near Apex Mountain Resort, is home to Miniature Goats and other farm animals. Visitors can observe the animals, brush the goats, and learn about their unique characteristics. The farm is open year-round for visits, both by appointment and for drop-in visits on specific days, with seasonal Goat Yoga in a scenic mountain setting. It also hosts school trips, group visits, and private birthday parties, with options to reserve tables and use the barbecue.

If you’re visiting Historic O’Keefe Ranch, be sure to stop and visit the farm animals at this popular attraction – it’s a favourite among the kids! The ranch is home to a variety of animals, including sheep and miniature goats, as well as birds. You may even find a few animals roaming the property! While there, take the stairs above the Greenhow Museum to view their impressive model railway display.

A must-visit farm when in the Okanagan. Here you can meet many animals such as kangaroos, wallabies, emus, parrots, sugar gliders, peacocks, and more! Make a day out of it and don’t miss your visit to the Kangaroo Creek Farm. You can also host a birthday party here! Public seating is available for picnics and self-catered birthday parties. There is no extra charge to hold a birthday party at Kangaroo Creek Farm but please tidy up after yourself.

Linden Gardens and the Frog City Cafe are located on 9 acres of garden for the kids to wander through and explore. A fantastic addition to the Gardens is a few farm animals for the children to visit. They have pigs, goats, chickens, and bunnies! Before you explore the gardens, pick up a Kids' Scavenger Hunt which is a checklist of pictures for kids to find along your walk.
