City Park Waterpark in Kelowna is an incredibly family-friendly destination that provides a fun environment for children of all ages to cool off and play during the hot summer months.

The waterpark features a variety of spray fountains, water guns, and a large splash pad that offers plenty of opportunities for children to run around.

Some of the favorites among the kids were the water guns, a small water slide, and a large bucket that fills up and spills over.

Location

Located in the heart of downtown Kelowna, City Park is easily accessible and free for families to enjoy.

In addition to the waterpark, City Park offers several sports facilities, including basketball and volleyball courts, as well as a playground and skate park.

The park’s location along Okanagan Lake also provides opportunities for swimming, boating, and other water activities. Families can access Hot Sands Beach, which is within walking distance of the park.

Parking

The parking lot at City Park is large and conveniently located near the park entrance and the waterpark area.

It’s important to note that the parking lot can get quite busy during peak hours, especially on weekends and holidays. Families are encouraged to arrive early in the day to secure a parking spot. There are also several parking lots within walking distance of the park, which offer paid parking options.

Washrooms

The washrooms are easily accessible from the waterpark, and they provide a convenient place for families to change in and out of swimsuits. Additionally, the washrooms are wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all visitors can use them comfortably.

Family Fun Tips

  • Bring a wagon to easily transport all your belongings to and from the water park
  • Don’t forget to pack sunscreen, hats, towels, and water shoes
  • Bring some toys to keep the kids entertained – they love filling up cups and buckets
  • Pack a change of clothes for the kids so they can change out of their wet swimsuits
  • Arrive early in the day to secure a nearby parking spot
