Drive 20 minutes south along Skaha Lake from Penticton and you will arrive at the quaint town of Okanagan Falls.

Family Drop-In Programs

On school days, bring your kids ages 0-5 years to Okanagan Falls StrongStart. It is a free school-based early learning program offered at the OK Falls Elementary School where your child will have free time to play games, read books, create a craft, participate in storytime where they will sing songs, and more!

Another fantastic place to stop and play is Kenyon Park. Within the park there is John Bell Playground, a water spray park and a smooth and sandy beach. The park also offers picnic tables, benches and public washrooms and a pathway so you can walk along the water. 

Outdoor Adventure

If you are looking to take your family for a short walk and view wildlife along the way, stop by and check out the Vaseux Lake Wildlife Centre and Bird Sanctuary. Located just 5km past Tickleberry’s Ice Cream Shop, this walk is perfect for children of all ages as it’s an easy, flat 10-minute walk to the wildlife viewing tower to see birds and other animals.
