Cedar Ridge Park is a hidden gem in Lumby with a fun forest-themed playground. Kids get a big play structure with two slides, a rock wall, climbing panels, and monkey bars, plus a sweet little "Kids Only" playhouse with a working clock inside. There's also a swing set with a baby swing and a moose spring rocker for the littles. Surrounded by tall cedar trees and mountain views. No dogs allowed.

Tucked into a quiet Lumby neighbourhood off Saddleview Avenue, George Fisher Memorial Park's playground was renovated in 2025 and features a new play structure, multiple slides, and a small basketball court.

Gold Fox Acres is a working family-run hobby farm that decided to share its love for animals with others through its weekend petting zoo. Open from Easter to Halloween, by appointment only. Weather permitting.

This Lumby & District Museum collects, protects, and exhibits artifacts and materials significant to the Village of Lumby and surrounding rural areas.

The Lumby and District Public Market runs seasonally and features a variety of local vendors offering fresh produce, baked goods, handmade crafts, and more. It’s a lively community gathering spot perfect for shopping local and enjoying the small-town atmosphere.

Lumby Bike Park is a fun, all-ages outdoor space located just off Highway 6, where kids and families can ride, play, and practice their biking skills. With a pump track, skill areas, and a small playground, it’s a great stop along the Salmon Trail.

The Lumby Library is a friendly community hub where families can read, browse, and take part in local programs. The kids' area features a small table for colouring, a teepee with toys, and shelves of picture books, early readers, chapter books, graphic novels, and DVDs. Older readers will find fiction, mystery, romance, sci-fi, biographies, magazines, and audiobooks, plus a Teen Gallery, comfy seating, public computers, and a printer/scanner. Drop-in programs include Family Story Time, Stay and Play, and Jr. Story & STEAM.

Whether you seek exercise or a fun-filled outing with the family, the Lumby Outdoor Pool has something for everyone. With daily public swims, individuals of all ages can splash and play to their heart’s content.

Lumby Skatepark features a variety of concrete elements designed for skateboarders, scooter riders, and BMX riders. The park includes quarter pipes, banks, and transition areas that allow riders to build speed and link together smooth lines. Ledges and rails provide opportunities for grinding and technical tricks, while bowl-style sections and curved ramps create flowing transitions for carving and continuous movement. With open riding space and a mix of features, the skatepark offers options for both beginners learning basic skills and experienced riders practicing new tricks.

Situated within Oval Park, next to the Lumby outdoor swimming pool, the Lumby Spray Park is a fun destination for family outings. It combines the fun of a water park with an adjacent playground, allowing kids to easily switch between splashing around and playing on swings and slides. The spray park is equipped with engaging water features, including a spray ring tunnel, adding to the excitement.
