Rotary Play World at Skaha Lake Park

Rotary Play World is a fantastic spot for kids of all ages to play and explore. The playground features three different play structures, six swings, seasonal washrooms and a concession, a splash pad for hot days, and lots of picnic tables and parking nearby. Even better, right next to the playground you’ll find basketball courts, an outdoor gym, and beautiful Skaha Beach just steps away.

Discovery Park

Known as a natural playground, children balance on logs, play musical instruments, and use other elements from nature to stimulate their imagination and creativity. Discovery Park also offers two slides and four swings.
Washrooms are located in the same building as the Tickleberry’s Concession Stand, next to the park.

Dunant Park

Tucked away in a peaceful residential area, Dunant Park offers a fun and easygoing spot for younger kids to play. The playground has a nice variety of activities, from racing down the double slides to bouncing on the teeter-totter and swinging high. For kids who love a challenge, there are monkey bars and plenty of climbing features to explore.

Granby Park

This playground is a hidden gem as not many locals know about it. There are four swings, stepping stones, a spring ride motorcycle, monkey bars, and two slides. Granby Park offers a shaded grassy area and benches if you want to bring a picnic and stay awhile. Please note that there are no public washrooms at this playground.

Kiwanis Park Playground

The Kiwanis Park Playground is part of the Edmonton Avenue Centre Complex, located next to the Penticton Safety Village and Kiwanis Baseball Field. Designed for kids ages 5 to 12, the playground features two play structures with slides, monkey bars, tunnels, a playhouse, and more. There are also climbing bars and a digger for even more fun. Around the playground, you’ll find a picnic table, several benches, and grassy areas perfect for relaxing or having a snack.

Lakawanna Playground

Lakawanna Playground is tucked behind Patio Burger, right across from Okanagan Beach, in a fully fenced area that adds an extra sense of security for little ones. The park features two playground structures, a swing set, a seasonal splash pad, and plenty of amenities like washrooms, picnic tables, and benches. Surrounded by mature trees, grassy spaces, and lots of parking, it’s an easy spot to spend a few hours. While the signage suggests the playground is best suited for ages 5 to 12, our 2-year-old still had a great time exploring with a little extra supervision.

Lion’s Community Park

This playground offers fun for all ages, with two different play structures, plenty of monkey bars, slides, and lots of climbing opportunities. And yes, there’s a swing set too! Shaded by beautiful trees and surrounded by picnic tables and benches, it’s a great spot for a family outing. Parking is usually easy to find, except during ball games, since there’s a ball diamond located in the park. Seasonal public washrooms are also available.
