Family Sundays – Kelowna Art Gallery

Join the Kelowna Art Gallery for Family Sundays, where you and your family can join Gallery staff to take part in an enjoyable and exciting art activity based on one of their current exhibitions. Create a unique piece of artwork to take home with you whilst having fun exploring materials and techniques.

Please take a moment to review the program guidelines below:
- Pre-registration is required and mask-wearing is welcomed.
- Time slots are 45 minutes long and tables are available to book at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00.
- A maximum of 6 per table. Larger groups will need to book more than 1 table.
- The Gallery will not accommodate drop-in participants.
- Family Sundays are designed to be for the whole family. Children must be accompanied by an adult and you can all join in on the fun!

September 4 | Double Level Drawings
Draw some inspiration from our current exhibition in the Glass Gallery, Sensorineural, to make your own colourful, shaped windows to view your drawings through.
September 11 | Lines and Layers
Like Andy Warhol’s later prints, you will make “contour” drawings to lay over top of celebrity portraits.
September 18 | Kelowna Art Gallery Collection “Master Copies”
A classic artists’ exercise, we will choose an image from the KAG collection to copy or inspire the making of your own art pieces.
September 25 | Still Life
Inspired by Tom Wesselmann’s prints in our current exhibition, From Warhol to Banksy, you will make your very own still life’s from a variety of props and media.
