Kick off the holiday season in Oliver with the much-anticipated Oliver Light Up & Fireworks event on Friday, November 29, 2024! This festive celebration offers a full evening of holiday cheer, shopping specials, local food, carol singing, and fun for all ages. Stroll through downtown, enjoy the holiday lights, and cap off the night with a spectacular fireworks display.
Event Schedule:
- 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Rediscover Downtown – Holiday shopping specials at local businesses, street food available, including hot dogs by the 232 Bighorn Air Cadets at Triangle Park, Christmas carols sung by the Sage Valley Voices, and display of wreaths entered in the Holiday Wreath Contest.
- 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM: Light-Up Ceremony at Town Hall and Santa’s grand arrival downtown!
- 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Head to the Oliver Tourism Visitor Centre & Lions Park for the legendary Light Tunnel, community bonfire, Night Market, and food trucks.
- 8:00 PM: Fireworks Finale!
