The family stopped into Just4Fun Playcentre in West Kelowna on our way back from Silverstar Mountain Resort last month. It was a great place to let the kids run loose, burn some energy and break up the trip.
I was impressed at how big the building was and how many different activities they offered.
They had a massive play structure in the middle of the building for the kids to crawl, climb and run around in. On top of that, they had a bouncy castle, bouncy slide, toddler zone, teacups, and a concession area. Great family-fun for all ages!
Plus if you wanted to book a birthday party, they offer separate themed rooms you can book.
4 Level Play Structure
The play structure is great for older kids, but you can still bring your toddler that is walking, I would just make sure an adult is there to help.
There are multiple slides on the structure.
Bouncy Castle
For some reason kids are drawn to the bouncy castle. Again, great to burn off energy and another fun activity to do indoors while visiting Just4Fun Playcentre.
Bouncy Slide
This was a favourite and I was surprised how fast they went down the slide. The ladder is located on the left and they climb all the way to the top for a fast and bouncy ride down.
My daughter went so fast I couldn’t get a still image of her going down the slide or jumping around afterwards.
Toddler Zone – Ages 3 & Under
The Toddler Zone is perfect for the little ones under 3 years old. It offers a ball pit, soft slide, stackable blocks and games on the wall. The entire ‘zone’ is padded which is great if your little one falls down.
They also have to climb over a small squishy barrier so they cannot easily get out on their own.
Spinning Teacups
I was dizzy just watching the kids spin around and around on these teacups, but they loved it and kept going back to play on these.
Concession Stand/Snacks
What I really enjoyed about Just4Fun is that you can bring your own snacks in. They have a great rest area set-up with a bunch of tables and chairs where you can either enjoy your own snacks or ones you have purchased from their concession stand.
Birthday Parties
Did you know they host birthday parties as well? You can choose from themed room packages and they set everything up for you.
This Cars themed birthday party was set-up when we were there. I know as a parent, it takes the stress out of planning a party as it’s all there when you book your party package. Check their website for all the party details.
Family Fun Tips:
- Both adults and children are required to wear socks (you can purchase them for $2 if you forget yours)
- Washrooms and change tables are available
- Free wi-fi available
- There are tables available to sit and enjoy a snack
- If you didn’t bring a snack, there is a concession
- Drop-in rates are good for the entire day
