Nestled in Sendero Canyon’s residential area, Sendero Park and Playground is a quiet park for families seeking a place to play. As you drive up, respect the local speed limits and be mindful of the speed bumps.
Parking
Despite the limited parking availability, the quiet area often means you can find a spot right in front of the playground. The playground is designed for children 5 – 12 years old.
Fully Fenced
The perimeter is enclosed by a fence, offering parents peace of mind as their kids play.

Seating and Snack Time
Equipped with three benches and a picnic table, the park is a great place to have a snack, eat lunch, or sit and relax. If you bring a blanket, the kids can enjoy a picnic on the grass.
A Diverse Playground Landscape
The park’s landscape is a mix of grass, concrete, and wood chips. We recommend wearing shoes instead of sandals.
Playground Features
The park has a range of equipment. Highlights include a climbing wall on a boulder structure, a slide, a rope, and two swings—one toddler swing and one standard swing.
A Place for Everyone
Sendero Park is the ideal spot for families, offering a playground, picnic areas, and a breath of fresh air for the kids.
Family Fun Tips:
- Sendero Park does not have washroom facilities or garbage cans so plan ahead
- Wear shoes over sandals due to the wood chip surfaces around playground structures
- Bring hats and sunscreen as there are no shaded areas
