Fall is our favourite time of year here at Okanagan Family Fun and we are always excited to explore new pumpkin patches or find our way through a corn maze while taking part in some family-fun activities.

Armstrong

Armstrong Pumpkin Patch

Come on out and enjoy a day at the Armstrong Pumpkin Patch. They sell pumpkins, decorative corn, corn stalks, squash, and gourds. Their prices will be one of the more reasonable for pumpkins in the area. Wander around their pumpkin patch and take pictures of the kids on their hay wagon. They are open daily from October 1-31 from dusk to dawn.

Grindrod

Green Croft Gardens Pumpkin Patch

This is a family-fun activity where you can pick your own pumpkin. Self-serve, go ahead and choose from many different colours and sizes available. You can also cut your own corn stalks, visit the farm store or take a self-guided farm tour. Just pay at the booth on your way out. They will be open the end of September/beginning of October.

Kelowna

Don-O-Ray Farms

Pick up a pumpkin at Don-O-Ray Farm Market and while there, visit the petting zoo and maze next door. You can visit their goats, bunnies, ducks, chickens, and more! Get a free airbrush tattoo with your admission fee. They also add spooky surprises leading up to Halloween. The Petting Zoo is open every day until October 31, 2021, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The entry fee to the petting zoo is $7.60/person plus tax (2 and under are free). Pumpkins are a separate cost.

Kelowna Corn Maze

Bigger and better each year! There will be 2 mazes, one for families and another that is scary. Leave yourself 30 minutes to walk the maze and another 20 to 30 minutes to enjoy the fire pit (weather/wind dependent). No pets allowed, pleaseCheck their Facebook page to confirm hours as they will close if it’s pouring rain.

McMillan Farms – Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch

This popular destination is a bucket list item for families in the fall. Visit their 3-acre corn maze, jump on a hayride to tour their farm, visit their petting farm or try slinging apples out of a giant slingshot. There is also a concession stand on site along with cutouts for fun family pictures. A great place for all ages to experience all these unique activities and more. They open near the end of September and will run until October 31.

About: Come pick up a pumpkin or other fresh produce at Matheson Creek Farm in Okanagan Falls. A beautiful drive down Eastside Road along Skaha Lake. Pumpkins will be available in October. They are open daily from 9:30 am until 5:30 pm until October 31 (closed Wednesdays in October).

Covert Farms Family Estate

Book a family fun educational tour out to the pumpkin patch. Learn about organic regenerative farming, pick some yummy grapes to take home and choose your pumpkin from their pumpkin patch.

Salmon Arm

Harpur Family Farm 

Open in October, 2021 head down to the Harpur Family Farm Pumpkin Patch this fall. Enjoy a hayride which includes a 10-minute tour around the farm for $2 per person, infants are free. Try their pumpkin slingshot while you are there!

Blossom Fruit Stand

Located along Highway 97 in Trout Creek is Blossom Fruit Stand. During the Fall, they have a pumpkin patch where you can go out into the field and pick your very own pumpkin. Don’t wait too long like we did, as they get picked over fast.

Historic O’Keefe Ranch

Don’t miss out on our family fun activities at O’Keefe Ranch this Fall. Find your way through their Corn Maze, meet their Goats, enjoy tractor rides a bonfire, and more! You can also pick a pumpkin and play their pumpkin scavenger hunt. Their corn maze opens in the summer and fall activities will start in October.
