Canada Day is the perfect holiday to spend with your family and a great way to kick off the summer. Celebrate Canada’s Birthday with live entertainment, games, cake and more. Plus, most of these events are completely free to the public!

Armstrong

Countdown to Canada Day
About: Start the morning off with a Canada Day breakfast by donation at the Len Wood Middle School. After breakfast there is the Canada Day Party Procession, welcome and opening ceremonies followed by cake cutting. In the afternoon the free family fun zone is open, which includes a petting zoo, bounce n’ play, face painting, cookie decorating and more. Also available in the afternoon are wagon rides, live entertainment and a free swim at the Aquatic Centre.

Canada Day Celebration
About: Start the morning off at 11:00am with the leaky bucket race, hosted by the Fire Department. There will also be a BBQ on-site, sponsored by Kal-Rec, along with Canada Day Crafts for the kids and interactive entertainment.

Celebrate Canada Day
About: The day starts off at 8:00am with their traditional breakfast, hosted by Rotary. Throughout the day, an exciting line-up of stage performers including the family rock and comedy band, the Oot ‘n Oots, Lake Country School of Dance, Lake Country Big Band, J.S. Garcia Band and a brand-new country cover band – The Dirt Road Kings.

Canada Day Street Party
About: Join friends and neighbours for a community street party to celebrate Canada Day. Bring your own picnic along and they will provide tables and entertainment. Osoyoos

Canada Day & 71st Annual Cherry Fiesta
About: This all day celebration features a Rotary Pancake Breakfast, the Cherry Fiesta Parade, entertainment and children activities at the Osoyoos Legion and Gyro Park. The Gyro Beach Bandshell will host live entertainment throughout the course of the afternoon. Finish the day off with a spectacular fireworks show, named one of the best in BC!

Rotary Ribfest
About: Rotary Ribfest is a full weekend of fantastic family fun. Four champion barbeque teams from across Canada will compete in a rib cook off to win the prize for 1st Place, Best Sauce and People’s Choice. Throughout the weekend, the park will be home to live entertainment and activities for children and youth, as well as a beverage garden and loads of vendors.

About: This annual free event will feature bouncy houses, dance groups, arts and crafts, and many hands-on activities. The festival has games that children can play for .50 cents/play. All children receive 1 free game ticket and if wearing red will receive an additional ticket at the gate.

Canada Day at SilverStar
About:
Celebrate Canada Day at SilverStar with family fun all day long. They will have cake, pony rides, inflatables games for the kids, snow cones and more. Plus FREE summer tube sliding at the top of the gondola along with other fun family activities. PLUS they are planning some bands, beer gardens and BBQ.

Westside Daze – Celebrate Canada Day
