The Kiwanis Park Playground is located in the Edmonton Avenue Centre Complex which is situated next to the Penticton Safety Village and Kiwanis Baseball Field. The play areas are designed for children ages 5 to 12 years old, offering two play structures which include slides, monkey bars, a playhouse, tunnels, and more. In addition, there are climbing bars and a digger at this playground. You can find a picnic table, several benches, and some grassy areas surrounding the playground.

Located across from Okanagan Beach and behind Patio Burger, Lakawanna Playground is situated in an enclosed fenced area that provides an extra sense of safety. There are washrooms on-site, picnic tables, benches, two playground structures, a swing set, and a seasonal splash pad.

Plenty of trees surround the playground along with grassy areas and ample parking. The signs on-site recommend the park is for ages 5 to 12 years old, however, our 2-year-old enjoyed certain aspects of the park with parental supervision.

Fun for all ages, this playground has two different play structures, monkey bars galore, slides, and lots of steps to climb. It’s surrounded by picnic tables and benches, and covered by beautiful trees for shade, making it the perfect stop for your family. There is plenty of parking available unless you arrive during a ball game as there a ball diamond is located in this Park. Seasonal public washrooms are available.

This large park is located on Okanagan Lake and is situated next to the Penticton Lakeside Resort. Okanagan Lake Park hosts many annual events such as Peach Festival, Rib Fest, and more. Washrooms are available on-site, and there is also beach access and a separate off-leash dog beach.

Penticton Youth Skate Park

The Penticton Youth Skate Park is home to 30,000 square feet of modern concrete skate facilities. Also available at this park are full-sized basketball courts, covered spectator seating, washrooms, and free parking. Helmets are mandatory at this location.

Rotary Park

This large grassy area is located beside the famous Peach. While there is no playground at this park, there are benches to sit and enjoy a snack or ice cream.

At Rotary Play World you will find 3 different play structures, 6 swings, washrooms, a seasonal concession (operated by Tickleberry’s), a seasonal splash pad, picnic tables, and parking. Most importantly, it’s conveniently located beside the playground are basketball courts, an outdoor gym, and of course the Skaha Beach.

Nestled in the quiet neighborhood of Sendero Canyon, the fully fenced playground is a safe and serene spot for kids aged 5-12 to enjoy swings, slides, and a climbing wall. Despite limited parking, the area’s tranquility often ensures a spot close to the fun. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the benches or grass, and don’t forget sunscreen and suitable shoes for the wood chip surfaces!

It boasts not only a vibrant playground but also soccer fields, ball diamonds, a lacrosse box, and a skateboard park. There’s even a designated area for dog walking, making it ideal for all family members, including furry ones. Our girls couldn’t wait to tackle the monkey bars and climb the various ropes, each finding their own challenge to conquer. Access is easy, with ample parking available off Kidston Road.
